The primary target users of Photoshop are graphic designers, and a lot of them are photographers. Photoshop stands for the PHOTographic STudio, which is the brand name for Photoshop. It is distributed as part of a plug-in system known as Creative Suite, which also includes Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Muse, and other creative tools.
